jet city Is hilarious 5/19/2006

i used to go all the time when I was in college, and then just recently i went and saw them again. they have their won theater now, and shows are even better than before, because there is video and music and all kinds of production values. don't bother with anyone else. jet city is the best. more

Funny! 5/17/2006

Yo - the funniest thing I have ever seen. My friends dragged me there. I had never gone before, and it was farging hilarious. I went back the next week and saw another show, just to make sure it wasn't that night, and that show was even better. Every show I have seen there has been sidesplitting. I hurt from laughing when I leave there. more

This is improv 5/16/2006

I went to see a show a few months ago called "The Beauty Pageant". Some of their games seemed to be forced into the show, but that was easy to overlook. It was still a fun little show and a nice way to spend an early Thursday evening. I made the mistake of returning the next week. To my dismay, I saw the same show. Jet City Improv is CONSISTENTLY pushing the envelope of live improvised theater in not only the Seattle scene, but worldwide! Everytime my friends and I venture to their show, it is not only HILARIOUS, but creative, inventive, and different. They are WAY better than ANYTHING else in Seattle. TRUST ME. Seen all the comedy in this city, and NOTHING compares to Jet City's consistency. WURD more

Yeah - how this theatre got panned on here is unbelievable... Jet City Improv not only is a fast paced hilarious show (consistantly) - but they offer a variety of multi-media expieriances for thier audience, and do impressive work in the Seattle community not to mention they have great classes for even the most novice of actors! - Plus, they consistantly get the best reviews in almost every Seattle publication. You must be confused with Unexpected Productions. more

Great improv 12/7/2005

There are some funny cast members. Since it's never the same two times, you can go everyday if you want. I went with a group of friends and had a wonderful time, laughed all the way through. I haven't been to many other improv places so I can't compare it to others but I would definitely go back and recommend going to others! more

Why I usually avoid improv 8/22/2005

Jet City Improv is similar to most improv I’ve seen: uninspired and cliché scenes that revolve around exaggerated acting and unrealistic dialogue. Your money would be much better spent going to see a movie, even a bad one, because at least that would be entertaining. Do not be fooled by the discount, skip this show. more

I would have preferred "spin city" 7/31/2005

Jet City is performed in a high school cafeteria. If that isn't enought to deter you, then maybe their unamusing, boring improv is. Nearly all the people who attend are high school groupies, and by the end of the evening I attended, I was getting pretty tired of sponteniety. Just don't bother. more

My sister and I ventured to Jet City Improv because they had a discount for students and we love improv. We were very disapointed. The improv was flat and uninventive. The improvers are not very creative. It was like watching a high-school improv group, but having to pay. I would recommend checking out Unexpected Productions instead. Bad improv is completely worthless. more
