I absolutely adore this store and will brave traffic and nearly-nonexistent parking to get there. High Gear has an amazing selection of very reasonably priced jewelry with many styles and price ranges to choose from. They have the best selection of copies from David Yurman, Christian Dior, Tiffany's, and many others (fun things from Sex & the City), wonderful original designs, and many basics (silver and gold hoops in every size). The owner and staff are terrific and will help you select things for yourself or as gifts - I have even had earrings made while I waited. Don't be shy about asking for help finding things, or asking an opinion about what looks good on you - you'll get great advice.
