Natural Healing : ) 1/10/2011

I began to look for a more natural healing. I did a lot of reading and spent time in health food stores hoping I could find an answer there. Months passed, and I met a young lady who gave me the name of her naturopath. I was more than willing to try natural and integrative medicine. My first appointment with Dr. Kalidas has been almost a year ago. At that time we discussed my concern over my general fatigue as well as my acidic stomach. Not only did Dr. Kalidas reline my stomach, he gave me many supplements, and my energy returned. Nine months have passed, and I am well. I have joined a strength-building class and am seeing positive results. \r \r I was to thank you Dr. Kalidas for giving me my health back. Life is good again.\r more

A Wholistic Approach to healing! 1/10/2011

I saw Dr. Kalidas in February of 2010. Based on test results, he told me to completely cut out gluten (not just cut back on it). I had cut it back before but not noticed a difference. I thought it would be impossible to cut it out completely. But on the doctor's orders I did, and about 1 week later I woke up and wondered what in the world was going on and why I felt so good. It had been probably 7 years since I felt so good. Some of the symptoms I had been experiencing were severe depression, sadness, headaches every day, sometimes migraine headaches, extreme fatigue, skin problems, irritability... etc. I was shocked that cutting gluten out of my diet practically eliminated those things, and that what I was eating could affect my mood so drastically. I'm on a tight budget - I don't buy many of the ""gluten-free"" foods, because they tend to be more expensive. Instead, I just have more veggies, fruit, rice, beans, potatoes, meats, and nuts. I didn't notice a difference in how I felt for over a week, but then it was like a switch was flipped and I felt amazing. It was so strange to feel happy again. I still have to be very careful not to have any gluten (even having a pill that had wheat starch in it made all my symptoms come back for three days). If the doctor suggests going gluten-free, give it a try. You could have your life back! more

Do your homework first on this Doctor, I wish I had. 2/25/2009

I would be sure that this is the kind of medical care that you want. He accepts no insurance and doesn't want anything to do with insurance companies. This should have been a big red flag. He does not follow normal medical guidelines. His office gets angry about being questioned over anything. He also uses unconventional herbs and vitamins that could be harmful.Just beware He also uses other facilities to validate his type of medicine! Cons: Takes and takes, a neverending process. more

great medical care 3/12/2008

The medical care I received was great. The doctors spent a lot of time with mem, an hour and a half for the first apoointment and were able to start me on a protocol. I feel so much better with the natural approach. \r \r The center does not take any insurance. However they informed me of it from the first phone call. They did give me a form to submit on my own. I was tired of not feeling well.\r \r I would definately recommend Dr. Kalidas and his office. They offer many therapies. Pros: Great office and friendly Doctor and staff more

Unable to get insurance refund or prescription refill from Dr. Kalidas. 8/31/2007

I would not recommend Dr. Kalidas. Neither he nor his staff will help you receive your insurance refund. More importantly, Cigna sent me a letter showing that they had sent over $600.00 to Dr. Kalidas's office, but when I called the billing office, Dr. Kalidas's staff member told me that they had not received anything from Cigna. \r \r My pharmacist received a fax response to a perscription inquiry from Cigna: I was trying to get the perscription renewed. Dr. Kalidas's office faxed my pharmacist the response that ""...they do not talk with insurance companies..."" So, what's a patient to do: no refund & no prescription. \r \r I do not recommend Dr. Kalidas! Pros: David, who administers the IV's, is wonderful. Cons: Staff is ""flippit"" about patient's insurance refund and need for prescription refills. more
