If the idea of hanging out with dermestids (flesh eating beetles) and lots of dead things in some secluded location gives you the creeps, don't go there. If you want to go there, you may want to get a clear idea of where it is on a map because your cell phones might not work around there! It's out in the country, it has to be remote, and if you visit, you will know why. It's an interesting place for some school children to visit on field trips. Mr. Robert Bicknell, the owner, worked for 24 years as a fish and wildlife biologist for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. He is quite personable, a wonderful conversationalist, and knows a lot about preparing, identifying and caring for bones. His studio has bones from scores of animals, including humans, including a whale in fact. He sells a lot of these, he has the facilities to prepare skeletons for display and sometimes even articulates the remains of people's pets.
