Terrible Dentist 12/8/2009

My wife and I have had a terrible experience at Winter Park Dental Services (Towncare Dental). They stubbornly refuse to give you an exam and clean your teeth on the same day. My wife has been there 3 separate times and they have NOT CLEANED HER TEETH YET! They've forgotten our appointment once, also made another appointment for a day that the Dentist wasn't going to be in! Pros: none Cons: Told me I needed $1,100 of work that I didn't really need more

Poor service-waits of up to six months for appointment! They also don't seem to understand that just about EVERYONE would like an exam and a cleaning on the same day! The staff recently gave me 3 sales pitches when i was in there! NO, I do not want asuperfancy toothbrush/ plaqueremover/ flosser/ dishwasher for $350.00! The group also provided no support when I paid for an extra service that could be reimbursed by my insurnace company. The response I got? "You should definitely try your insurnace company's website!" Thanks for that tidbit! more
