First time parents who pulled our daughter from A New Generation after 3 months. I can not speak to any of the rooms other than the infant room and we believe that many of the issues we encountered were when other (not the main staff) staff were filling in or covering during breaks. We really got the sense that some of the younger staff members just needed a job and that they would be better off not caring for children. * My husband dropped in to visit our daughter to find another baby asleep on the floor, each child has a crib, there is no reason for a child to be asleep on the floor. * The door to the room clearly asks visitors to remove their shoes when they come in the room (babies on a dirty floor is just disgusting) and we frequently saw staff members wearing their shoes in the room * Staff regularly did not wear gloves or wash hands after changing diapers * We witnessed staff members wiping babies noses with their hands. * The straw that broke the camels back for us was when our 6 month old daughter ended up in the hospital from dehydration. I know that the daycare did not cause the illness that caused the dehydration but when she only drank 9oz during a 10hr time frame it would have been nice to get a phone call (which we did not). Not to mention the lack of cleanliness made us wonder if she would have gotten sick if she had not been at that daycare. more

BEST DAYCARE EVER-as far as these first time, finicky parents are concerned 3/11/2009

Our son has been attending A New Generation since he was 6 weeks old. They have been the best caregivers we could ask for. The staff is wonderfully caring, the program is fantastic, and we would never take him anywhere else. \r \r When we looked for daycare, both my husband and I instantly felt at home at the center. The place was clean, the kids were happy and engaged, and we were encouraged to drop in at any time so we could get a feel for what it was really like.\r \r A New Generation helps us with everything in a loving, non-judgemental way, which is so important, considering our closest family member is 750 miles away. And, we do mean everything, no matter how odd or simple the question is. ""Why is his tongue white? Exactly what do we need to do at home to make potty training successful? Should he be moved up to a new class with older kids? Is it normal that he wants to wear shorts when it is 30 degrees outside?"" My husband and I are constantly amazed with what he learns and brings home. From tracing letters before he is 3 years old, to creative (and easily replicable at home) art projects, to songs in circle time (which we have in our living room every night), they keep him stimulated, entertained and learning at the pace that is right for him. The education and socialization he gets at New Generation (my son is an only child) have convinced us that he will be ahead of the curve when he goes to school full time. \r \r Knowing that he is in such a healthy and caring environment during the day makes it so much easier for us to focus and not worry about him at work. They really are wonderful partners in our son's care! Pros: Staff, price, location, cleanliness, learning program Cons: Not a thing more

Great Child Care Place! 3/11/2009

We moved to the Broomfield area in 2005 and my child was 3 months when we first placed him in daycare. We had a horrible experience with the first place we put him in and then we found A New Generation! He has been there now for almost 4 years and will be there for as long as we can have him there. The thing that stuck out the most about this place was that it was more like a family/very personable environment rather then a big corporation. Most of the teachers are tenure and my child has grown up with them and loves them all. They have helped us and him learn everything from eating solid foods, potty training, abc's to how to write his name and spell out words! I love the fact that they do a parents night out every once in awhile to give you some away time to do whatever you need. They are very good about telling you where your child is at in his class, if you need to work with him on something specific and letting us know if he is having a bad day. I would recommend this place to anybody that is looking for a good personable environment, people you can trust and actually listen to you! more

Great people!! 2/3/2009

I recently moved back from Mississippi and found a babysitter for my 1 year old, he was absolutely miserable, he was at her care for 4 months and he cried every single day when I dropped him off, I just knew he was not happy and it absolutely broke my heart, I needed to work. Finally searching for a daycare, I read the review on New generation and I loved it, I felt that was exactly what I wanted for my baby, so I went to see for my self, I really like the teaches, and everybody, my baby has been going there for 2 months and he is so happy, they are very clean and feed him well, he won't cry when I leave, I truely don't have words to describe how grateful I am to them, they make my life so much easier and ease the guilt I feel not being able to take care of him my self because I know he is happy. Best Place For My Kid! 9/25/2003

Being a 1st time mom I was so worried about leaving my 8 month old in someone else's care. I went to the state & got a list of liscensed centers & saw which had complaints against them & then went from there. From the moment I walked in & met ""Grandma Pam"" I knew this was the place. From Bonni Jean in the nursery to Melissa in the Ones to Gloria in the Twos & Joy & all the other great employees I am confident my decision was right. There is more love & caring in that one place than anywhere I could have sent my kid. THey have helped my daughter to walk, talk, socialize & now ""potty train"". I am forever thankful for these angels who watched over my precious daughter when I couldn't! Pros: Staff, Staff, Staff more
