Generally very happy. Pros: Gym and laundry and dry cleaners, security all the time, banking and groceries, nice staff, nice views, cheaper than other places in the neighborhood...

I have almost been at Waterside Plaza for a year and I have really enjoyed it. This past weekend they had a dance festival featuring 4 or 5 different dance companies and it was great! It was right on the plaza. The plaza was filled with families and surprisingly people of all ages. more

Waterside is a great place to live! It has everything I need ie. gym, groceries, dry cleaners. I have an amazing view of the the river/midtown Manhattan. I had worked in the city for 10 years and hadn't really noticed it until a colleague had me over for dinner with his family. I have been here now for almost a year. The only downside is that it is far from the subway. Thankfully the M34A stops right out front and Waterside has a weekday shuttle. more

Great place to live 1/3/2012

Safe, fine place to live 6/2/2011

I have lived here for over 20 years now and still consider it a fine place to live. There can't be a prettier grounds in Manhattan. It is a very safe community and as a long time resident, my rent is very affordable for this city...but I'd assume that even the market prices are lower than comparable apartments around considering its distance from the train station. This is the one major drawback but I take the bus everywhere so it still suits me fine. The important factors for me such as the health club, security at all hours, and relative quiet are strong. Management and maintenance should be more responsive but as they say, you can't have everything...I'm a New Yorker born and bred and this is frankly as close to ""everything"" as you can get in this real estate market. more

Best healthclub in NYC! 9/24/2010

I love this place. I dont even live in the community and I still travel here to work out and even just to relax in the pool and sauna. It is such a wonderful experience everytime I go. Wonderful staff, wonderful facility. I highly recommend Waterside over any other health club in NYC - and I have been to many. more
