Best customer service! 4/17/2012

I found Madison Spa by looking on line. I had a Face and Skin Beautiful day. This included facial with microderm abrasion, hot stone massage, sauna, reflexology and I was suppose to have an eye treatment but she focused on the lines near my mouth with another treatment. (She still did my eyes too) Point being, it was very personalized treatment. The staff was extremely attentive and hospitable. I was the only one there so it was very private and relaxing. (They seem to have been taking many calls for appointments as I passed the desk several times). It is a bit retro in style and music but the personalized attention and state of the art services totally overshadowed everything else. The cost is truly a bargain and the treatments are completely worth every moment of time. I especially loved the facial and after a week really see differences in the lines in my face. Honestly, I didn't even care so much about that...it was relaxing, rejuvenating and frankly refreshing to get the quality of service in Manhattan. I just moved here 5 years ago and usually feel like spas are doing me a favor. This was a very wonderful experience that I totally recommend! more

Love Madison-Spa best massage! 12/21/2011

Madison-Spa is so nice, I love it! I can't wait to come and try a couple's massage with my hubbie. I haven't been in a while but have been meaning to tell everyone how much I love this place. If your in pain a massage at madison-spa would totally help. I love their facials too. I'm so happy I found them. Going to tell all my girlfriends about them (and have told some so far) because I came to Madison-Spa for my first facial and haven't been the same since. My skin looks so smooth and clear. more

I have recently visited Madison spa with my husband and took advantage of the summer in the city package. I was amazed by the quality of work. Facial was simply unbelievable. 2 weeks after my skin still looks better then it has in years. My husband and i both enjoyed the massage, which was performed in the same room for both of us. It was our anniversary present to each other and we truly had a very romantic day in this spa. we were offered wine and chocolate after service was completed. Staff was pleasant. atmosphere was friendly. I would strongly recommend it. more

Wonderful Experience! 6/24/2010

Madison is a lovely spa, beautifully decorated and very clean! I have very oily skin and after a thorough facial from Irina I left feeling beautiful and revived! There was no redness afterwards, which is common in other spas following extractions. Irina took her time, explaining each step to me and my skin glows right now. Highly recommended!! Last week I had a OXY treatment facial with Irina! It was the best experience I have ever had. My skin has never been so incredibly smooth and soft! Everyone was complimenting me! Not only did I look great, I also felt great. I would recommend this to every woman who needs that revitalizing treatment! I've never been this satisfied! Had an extremely pleasant half dat here. The ultimately best hot rock massage I ever had, and I've hat a few. Body scrub was great too. Facial was okay, but would have rathered a deep clean or gold facial...Atmosphere is quaint. Walls have the unique n stylish faux antique paint design which adds to the atmosphere. was offered wine and tea, and truffles. I took my mom to this spa for mothers day, and I really wasnt sure what to expect. When we first walked in we were kind of unsure of how it would be, but the women were really nice. We were brought into a room and given hot tea which was very good. We then went to changing rooms and my only complaint is that they don't have any lockers to lock up your belongings. After we changed into our robes we were brought into a sauna, which was nice. After the sauna we were brought into two seperate rooms. My mother had the facial first and I had the massage first. My massage was great and my mother loved her facial. We then were brought back to the waiting room where they had tea and wine for us. After a few minutes I went for my facial and my mother went for her massage. My face never felt so smooth it was amazing. Overall, I thought the prices were very reasonable and I would definitely go back and I recommend this place for massage and facials, Pros: best facial Cons: no lockers more

After a LONG Weekend of Shopping- THIS Is The Place to GO! 3/22/2010

My friends and I wanted a spa day on our last day of shopping in the city. We were able to choose 4 services, normally a $600 package at some places. We booked the package for $200. The hot stone massage was good, but the facial and reflexology combo was incredible! It was like angels dancing on my skin while having 15 miles of city walking drained out of my feet and legs.... at the same time!! So the decor wasn't like the Waldorf, but I quickly got over that as soon as I met the ladies and began my services. They are professional, skilled, and amazing- and that's what counts. Great experience! 3/22/2010

I went to this spa while on a girls' weekend in New York. It was fabulous! The cost was very reasonable and the service was outstanding. I have to admit I was a little hesitant at first. The building and decor weren't the best but I quickly got over that. Everything was perfect, from start to finish and I loved every minute of my spa day! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an incredible experience without spending an incredible amount of money! more

I loved the atmosphere at this spa. Friendly staff, excellent service and great value! My first impression is that the owner takes pride in her work. She seems to be willing to go out of her way to ensure that I left satisfied with the service. My overall experience was a positive one. My facial was performed with the help of the latest equipment as was explained to me. At first I was skeptical, but all my skepticism has quickly dissipated when Irene started her work. I was in haven! I loved how thorough she was. She took time to make sure it was done well. She is a perfectionist. Definitely the most important quality for me. I was very weary about this place b/c I have had bad beauty experiences in NYC, but the woman there, Irina, was AMAZING! She is Italian, so a lot of the products and methods she used were different than what I was used to.. but turns out Italy must be more advance that the United States b/c the facial cleared my skin up in 2 days! My first facial 7/2/2009

I?m a regular to this spa and normally go for a hot stone massage. It?s the best you get in the city. I have tried many different places, but this one is clearly the best. My experience is nothing but positive here. Have not had an average treatment yet. They are clearly customer focused and they always try to make sure that I feel comfortable and enjoy my treatment. On Monday I decided to go for a facial for the very first time. OH GOD!!!! What a treat!!!! How could I not loved it when my face was glowing! I don?t remember last time when I looked that good. Even my sister noticed that I looked good. I think I will have to bring her here for her birthday in August. You most definitely feel that your money are well spent when you feel good and look good. Decent service 6/22/2009

I went in for a hot stone massage and was slightly disappointed. The proper way of giving a hot stone massage is to first rub down and loosen up the body(which she did) then use the stones to rub down the area you are working on (i.e back, neck etc) then you PLACE the stone on to the proper points to allow the full affects of the stone to take place. By placing the stones and allowing them to sit and work their magic you can feel the toxic energy rising from your body, almost a tingling feeling. The vibe of the place was not very spa like.. just more of an old doctor office type feeling. I was offered tea at the end and the ladies were nice. Overall is was fine for me for that day( i was very tense and just needed a massage). Pros: rub down was good Cons: not a proper hot stone massage more
