I regularly get pedicures at Eden. It's like a mini-vacation. The pedicure takes about 1 hour and every minute is a delight. First, a soak in a flower petal and lemon slice-str...

Tribeca spa 8/1/2006

Though a little stressful to go to a spa so close to my office, I had a great massage and facial. The changing area was a bit small and weird, but the waiting area was beautiful - open and candle lit. That was very relaxing. My massage was excellent - a Chinese woman who got absolutely every knot rubbed out. She was not particularly talkative or friendly, but I don't like to talk during my massages, so it suited me fine! (Note, my friend had a male masseur and felt a little uncomfortable with him, so you might want to request a woman). The facial, however, was by far the best experience here. It was relaxing being all bundled up in layers, throrough, and my face felt fantastic afterwards! Would definitely go back. more

Massage 8/20/2005

The ambiance is very nice, but the staff is not especially attentive. No one showed me around my 1st visit there. I did not know that I had use of the steam room, etc. The massage was adequate, but at the end of the 45 minutes, the masseuse abruptly stopped, and said, "ok. Get dressed." She then turned around, and quickly left the room. I felt stressed & rushed again. It definitely didn't live up to the relaxing experience I was hoping for. more

  • The Scene
Quiet and pristine, this lovely, spacious spa includes a sunny reception and store, a cavernous waiting area with snack nook, saunas, facial and body service areas, and men's and women's locker rooms. Much of the sleek, plush furniture is imported and custom-made--like the extra-wide massage tables with built-in face cradles, and the Mu-Tone, a traditional East Asian wooden bath laced with oils and flower petals. The dimly lit lounge and nail area features buttery leather armchairs with headphones tuned into the entertainment projected on large white walls.

    The Services
Quality spa fare with Asian and holistic influences. Facials use Dermologica products, essential oils and natural extracts. Massage styles include lava stone; body treatments include seaweed wraps and the "Sandy Beach Scrub," a full-body exfoliating with Mu-Tone soak, scalp mud treatment and Vichy shower (women only). Waxing, manicures and spa pedicures (with reflexology) are also available.
