As a Pennsylvanian who frequently visits the City, I've had coffee throughout Manhattan and think D'expresso is the best. European style coffee in a cool relaxing ambience. I will be going back again and again more

Great Espresso Bar 3/27/2009

If you are in the Lower East Side and want a cool place to lounge have a coffee and relax this is the place. I came here last weekend and the coffee lounge has a cool vibe, friendly workers, and amazing coffees. They have the danezi brand which I havent found anywhere else yet in the city. I will definitely be hanging at d'espresso this summer to get my java fix Pros: Great Coffee, Pastries Cons: A little small inside more

I like this place. It has a great ambiance for a coffee shop and the people working there are so kind. I will return over and over since I found it on Citysearch. I probably will only go to starbucks...never. way to go despresso! Pros: I like it Cons: Nothing more

Best Coffee Downtown 12/16/2008

I came here the other day and must say I had one of the best cups of coffee I've had yet in NYC. I lived in Italy for 6 months and the coffee at d'espresso was on par with some of the best cafe's in Italy. The ambience is nice, they play good music, and the staff is great. This is definitely going to be my go to spot on sunday mornings Pros: Amazing Coffee, great desserts Cons: Wish it was closer to my apt more
