I couldn't have been happier with our beautiful wedding photos taken by Max Balmain. One of our photos, which my Aunt describes as THE wedding photo, was so great it was later featured in the Eastside Journal. My sister had equally great results from her wedding just a few months later (yes, my poor parents!).
His background is in journalism, so he is very unobtrusive while he's working, and great at catching the real moments of your wedding day. Even our posed photos look very relaxed and natural thanks to his layed-back manner and skill.
I'm not sure what his fee structure is like these days (I was married in 1998), but since he works independently he's likely to be able to be flexible based on what you need.
