very nice nail salon 5/28/2009

Cleanest nail place i have ever seen in nyc. They take the instruments out of sterile packages like at a doctors office. They give a nice massage when drying your nails and even help you put the oil on ur nails so they dont smudge when you leave. Pros: very clean, friendly Cons: little bit pricey more

I cannot recommend Apple NYC enough. It is by far my favorite nail salon in New York and I've tried plenty! The staff are the nicest you could possibly meet, especially the Boss Lady who could not be more attentive and dedicated to making the customer happy. Their standards are very high for the reasonable price but it's the small details that make it stand out...like the proper shoulder massage as your nails try. Also tried waxing here and was happy with that service too. They are very accommodating and it's a pleasant relaxing environment. I have nothing bad to say about this salon/spa! Pros: excellent choice of services Cons: none! more

Brazilian waxes quite decent 4/30/2009

\r I just tried this place out because I got a giftcard (it’s cool – called LuxeNow gift cards specializes only in nail salons in Manhattan -- and was pleasantly surprised. The mani/pedi is a couple of minutes longer than the other places I’ve been too, but are so much better ..., better nail polish that will last longer, more comfortable chairs, nicer/cleaner environment, etc...\r \r more

Favorite on the UWS 12/23/2008

As a resident of the Upper West Side I've tried plenty of salons in this area. Without a doubt Apple NYC on Amsterdam is the best. Best service, value for money and a very comfortable environment. The staff are extremely nice and attentive. It is a pleasure to go there which is what a salon should be. Pros: a proper shoulder massage for free as your nails dry Cons: can't think of any more

Clean salon and pleasant experience 10/30/2008

My manicures and pedicures always come out great here. They don't rush and it seems to last longer than manicures/pedicures I've had from other salons. The thing I really like is that they are very good about hygiene... all the tools are sterilized and individually packaged. The prices aren't too bad either. I've also had facials done here; Susan is extremely knowledgeable and I love that they use Dermalogica products. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and they are open late, which is very nice! Best all around day spa 8/22/2008

This is the best all around day spa I have been to. The decor is lovely and the place itself is very relaxing. There is classical music playing softly in the background which was really nice while I was getting a pedicure. It was so soothing I almost fell asleep. The mani and pedi itself came out great. A great plus is that they're open late so I make my appointments to go after work. On top of that the people are inviting and helpful. An overall pleasant experience and I would recommend anyone to go. Pros: Great atmosphere and open late more
